Cookies & Telemetry Policy
Transparent disclosures on how browser cookies, local storage tokens, and security telemetry audit logs are managed on AWS Student Builder Group at Noida International University.
1.Our Privacy-First Approach to Cookies
Unlike commercial advertising platforms, AWS SBG NIU does not serve third-party marketing cookies, user-tracking pixel beacons, or ad networks. We strictly utilize cookies and HTML5 local storage solely for essential operational functionality, security enforcement, and persistent user preferences.
2.Categories of Storage Technologies Used
Includes encrypted admin session cookies (`aws_sbg_session`), CSRF tokens, and security challenge verifications preventing unauthorized brute-force entries.
Stores your statutory acceptance of the DPDP Act 2023 terms so you are not prompted repeatedly on every page navigation.
Temporarily tracks question countdown timers and active submission state during live auditorium speed battles. Cleared upon closing the battle tab.
3.Security Telemetry Audit Logs
To comply with university safety protocols and ensure fair play, our servers log key platform interactions (such as DPDP consent acceptance, event registrations, badge generations, and quiz entries) into our secure database (Supabase & local encrypted state).
These logs include IP addresses, browser user-agents, device types, and approximate location. They are restricted to authorized university administrators and are never sold or shared with commercial advertising entities.
4.Managing Your Browser Preferences
You can reset or clear your stored consent at any time by clicking the "DPDP 2023 Protected" shield pill located in the bottom-left corner of the website, or by clearing cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
